On AWAKING each morning this week I have observed
MIST, FOG or LOW CLOUD lingering.
*This has reminded me of a time walking with friends along The COAST to COAST in the UK in 2012 . We had left Rosthwaite, climbing a mountain trekking towards Grasmere and the next valley. As soon as we reached the top a FOG rolled in and we could not see even our hands. "A TOTAL WHITE OUT".
*I was caused to lead the 4 others I was with through this fog and we gained about 12 others following on the way . I depended on my "inbuilt" navigational sense, the voice of the H.S within and the awareness of an angelic guidance as we traversed the top of this mountain down into the next glorious valley.
*Many ponderings and reflections came from this time and again lessons to be learnt along the journey of life.
THE SUDDENLIES of GOD
* Some suddenlies are clearly and visibly abounding in His goodness while some that seem to have the word "challenge" written all over them
>perhaps teaching us to REJOICE in all circumstances or the PROVING of our faith bringing forth endurance, steadfastness and patience.
"so that you may be perfectly and fully developed, lacking in nothing" (James 1:4). That in itself is a beautiful promise.
*This I do know and have experienced
> "only goodness , mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life" (PS 23:6)
and He is for us and with us every step of the way.
*To fully experience the power of His resurrection, one must experience the fellowship of His sufferings (Php 3). One does not come without the other.
*AM I going forward on my path and not around in circles : am I allowing The sanctification process of His all consuming fire in my life.
*It takes courage to walk forward , sometimes the path not being obvious.
WE finally walked out of the FOG and into Glorious Sunshine and an amazing beautiful landscape before us.
ONE STEP at a TIME
*I could not read (as I could not see) any map as we walked through and over that mountain , I needed to be totally "attuned" to the leading of the spirit and also use the natural gift that has been given to me.
*I did not "throw away" the natural talent given to me but used it alongside the leading of the H.S .
*I needed more than anything to take ONE STEP at a time and be willing to stop and reassess at every point of the journey.
*There is NO MAP for the season we have entered into , we have not been this way before.
>but there are the Eternal paths, The ANCIENT paths : let us look for and walk in them. ( Jer 6:16)
*ONE step at a time does not mean we cannot PLAN or be ORGANISED but we need to be willingly to change direction when the need arises or He leads another way.
*RELEASE and be willingly to let go of previous plans or even relationships.
>HOLD nothing or ANYONE tightly , all belong to Him.
*At the time on that mountain I became aware of an angelic presence before and beside me, whom I needed to accomplish what was before me.
*Angels are ministering spirits on behalf and for the saints of The Most High, they are His servants.
*NO , we do not worship angels but let us acknowledge all of heaven and who is with us on the journey of life.
The Kingdom realm is far more exciting and interesting than the kingdom of darkness.
> where is our focus?
*Prior to Emperor Constantine (718-775 AD) it was normal for the church to ENGAGE and INTERACT with the angelic realm , and the provision that brings to fulfill our call, destiny and life.
*Angels have names , and that name (as does ours) releases and reveals function, role and mandate.
*I decided long ago to accept and engage all The Lord has for my world and my journey.
*I always identified myself as a trailblazer, even as a child with my earthly dad. I always wanted to go and explore a new path and see what is down there, what would we discover.
*The trek over the mountain highlighted that for me and settled it in my spirit once and for all.
*To me there are tourists, travelers and trailblazers in life (I will share more on this at another time). It is how we journey through life and all is good , no one better than the other.
*I need to be a trailblazer and a forerunner, hidden or not....... I may not be fully understood by the traveler or tourist or myself fully understand them, BUT as I have said previously let us honor everyone for the part we have to play and the journey we take, the path that we called to walk.
*Trailblazers make a way through for others to walk. They are risk takers, enjoy and love the adrenaline of the unknown path, they seek out the new , they also need wisdom to know if they have made a wrong turn and journey back to a known marker.
*The Lord pours out abundant GRACE for all our journeys , may we do the same to all people we encounter.
*Maybe there is someone waiting for you or myself to lead them through.
*Our journey is one of FAITH
"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we not see.
This is what the ancients were commended for" Heb 11:1-2
*Maybe we don't "see" or understand fully the path ahead or the times we are in, the age we have stepped into.
> that does NOT mean it is not TRUTH > search it out , ask for own personal revelation, seek and you will find.
> ask to be "tutored" by the 7 spirits of God , engage wisdom.
"Does not skillful and godly Wisdom cry out, and understanding raise her voice.
ON the top of of the heights beside the way, where the paths meet, stand Wisdom" Prov 8:2 amp.
AS I LOOK OUT MY WINDOW NOW , there is A CLEAR SKY and GlORIOUS SUNSHINE.
AS we walk forward in His CONFIDENCE and in COURAGE
THE MIST , FOG AND LOW CLOUD disappear and no longer linger.
